Job Description

Azizi Developments is looking for an experienced Material Engineer – Civil to join its team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in contracting or consultancy firms, with strong expertise in construction materials, testing procedures, and quality assurance for building projects.

The role focuses on managing material selection, reviewing approvals, and ensuring all construction materials comply with project specifications, regulatory standards, and quality requirements. Candidates with experience in residential, hospitality, and high-rise tower projects in Dubai will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the selection, testing, and quality assurance of construction materials used in building projects.

• Ensure all materials comply with project specifications, regulatory standards, and performance requirements.

• Review and approve material submittals according to project and design requirements.

• Collaborate with Design, Procurement, and Construction teams to optimize material usage.

• Support cost reduction initiatives and promote sustainable material solutions.

• Ensure proper documentation and quality records are maintained for material approvals and testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• 10+ years of experience working with contracting or consultancy firms.

• Preferred experience in residential and high-rise tower construction projects in Dubai.

• Exposure to various project types, including residential, hospitality, high-rise buildings, and special projects.

• Strong knowledge of civil material specifications, testing methods, and quality standards.

• Strong knowledge of:
