Marketing Assistant Intern

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Field Activation Support

• Support planning and execution of field marketing campaigns, demonstrations, roadshows, and activation activities
• Assist in coordinating farmer trainings, agrovet engagements, exhibitions, and promotional events
• Support distribution and tracking of branding and marketing materials
• Assist in setting up branding and visibility materials during activations and events
• Conduct market visits to gather customer feedback, competitor insights, pricing trends, and market intelligence
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, agrovets, retailers, and field partners
• Maintain records of activation schedules, attendance, and marketing inventory

Data Collection & Reporting

• Collect field activation data and customer feedback
• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports
• Support analysis of campaign performance and market response
• Maintain organized databases for field activities, contacts, and reports
• Track branding visibility and promotional execution across assigned regions
• Support use and updating of CRM and reporting tools

Digital & IT Support

• Provide basic IT and digital support to the marketing team
• Support management of digital reporting tools, shared drives, and marketing documentation
• Maintain organized digital filing systems, backups, and campaign records
• Assist with basic software and hardware troubleshooting before escalation to IT support providers

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and field activation activities
• Interest in agriculture, rural marketing, and agribusiness engagement
• Basic IT proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint, internet usage, and digital reporting tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Willingness to travel and participate in field activities across different regions
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
