Role Overview
As a classroom teacher with our school, you will take full ownership of a group of young learners — planning and delivering lessons that follow the Competency-Based Curriculum, tracking each child's progress, and shaping a classroom where curiosity, effort and good character are everyday habits. Your work sits at the centre of why families choose us: parents entrust us with their children's earliest school experiences, and the quality of your teaching directly determines how confident, capable and motivated those children become. You will work alongside a collaborative team of educators who plan together, solve problems together and hold each other to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and teach lessons aligned to the Competency-Based Curriculum, building activities around inquiry and learner-led discovery rather than rote delivery.
- Manage the classroom environment so that routines, expectations and transitions run smoothly, and every learner feels safe, respected and ready to participate.
- Assess and document learner progress continuously, using observation, classwork and formal assessments to identify gaps and adjust teaching accordingly.
- Differentiate instruction and provide targeted support for learners with additional needs, working closely with colleagues and families where extra intervention is required.
- Identify and nurture learners who require Special Educational Needs support, adapting materials and approaches to help them access the curriculum alongside their peers.
- Lead or actively support co-curricular activities — sports, clubs, performances or other school programmes — contributing your own strengths and interests.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about academic progress, behaviour and wellbeing, and represent the school professionally in those conversations.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers on planning, shared resources and school-wide initiatives, and take part in ongoing professional development and mentoring.

- Active participation in co-curricular activities and willingness to take on a leadership role within them.
