Role Overview
Teach and support learners in a school setting, using clear instruction and consistent classroom practice to help them make progress. The teacher will bring at least two years of experience to the role and meet the Teachers Service Commission registration requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons suited to learners’ needs and the curriculum.
- Explain subject matter clearly and encourage active participation.
- Monitor learners’ understanding and progress through classroom work and assessment.
- Provide feedback and adapt teaching where learners need additional support.
- Maintain an orderly, inclusive classroom environment.
- Use relevant ICT tools to support teaching and learning where appropriate.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Current registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
- At least two years of teaching experience.
- ICT skills are an added advantage.
