Prepaid Customer Lifecycle Marketing Manager
Role Overview
This position reports into the Marketing Director and owns the commercial health of the prepaid customer base. Day to day, the job means reading usage and network data, spotting where subscribers are disengaging or where revenue is leaking, and turning those findings into retention, reactivation, and usage campaigns that reach the market quickly. It matters because prepaid revenue depends on keeping a large, constantly shifting base active and spending — this role is the link between raw customer behaviour data and the commercial programmes that protect and grow that revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and launch voice and non-voice initiatives that grow prepaid revenue, from concept through to post-launch review.
- Build retention and loyalty programmes that strengthen subscriber stickiness and reduce churn across the prepaid base.
- Track customer behaviour, network activity, and usage patterns to surface growth opportunities and flag areas that need intervention.
- Create reactivation campaigns for inactive customers and develop offers that raise customer lifetime value.
- Evaluate campaign performance and customer movement trends, translating the results into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Produce forecasts and performance reports, and act as the central point for reporting and analysis on customer lifecycle management, usage, and revenue.
- Partner with Customer Experience, Commercial, Technology, and Finance teams to ensure commercial initiatives are implemented successfully.
- Oversee the execution of tariffs, promotions, and customer offers so they run smoothly with minimal complaints and operational risk, while driving usage uptake across voice and data products and optimising value realisation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Five to eight years in the telecommunications industry, ideally within commercial, marketing, customer lifecycle management, or revenue management functions.
- Strong analytical and business acumen, with a proven ability to turn data into practical insight.
- Solid project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership and coaching capability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability.
- Results-oriented approach, with the confidence to influence decisions across senior leadership teams.
- Able to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities at once.
