Primary Focus

We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Housekeeper to join our hospitality team in Ngara. This role is fundamental to our guest experience, ensuring that every room, corridor, and common area meets our rigorous standards for cleanliness and organization. You will be responsible for the daily sanitization of spaces, the careful handling of linens, and the proactive reporting of maintenance needs. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for maintaining a pristine environment.

Operational Workflow

Sanitization & General Maintenance

• Execute daily cleaning cycles including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of assigned zones.

• Sanitize high-touch surfaces and common areas to uphold stringent health and hygiene protocols.

• Ensure all washrooms are thoroughly disinfected and consistently stocked with essential supplies.

• Clean windows, walls, and furniture to ensure the facility remains presentable at all times.

Space Preparation & Guest Comfort

• Manage room turnover by making beds, changing linens, and ensuring bedding is perfectly arranged.

• Replenish towels, toiletries, and guest amenities according to established standards.

• Conduct visual inspections of rooms to identify and report any missing or damaged property.

• Support the laundry department during peak periods to ensure a steady supply of clean linens.

Technical Handling & Safety Compliance

• Operate cleaning equipment and utilize chemicals safely, following all manufacturer instructions.

• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning detergents and tools, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for deep-cleaning and periodic maintenance activities.

• Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and report any workplace hazards or accidents immediately.

Experience & Education

• Training: Certificate or basic training in Housekeeping, Hospitality, or a related field is an added advantage.

• History: 6 months to 1 year of professional housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience is preferred.

• Physicality: Excellent physical stamina with the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
