Junior Accountant

Convrgnt Value Engineering LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its Dubai team. This full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of UAE accounting experience who are looking to grow their careers in a professional environment. Experience in the construction industry is considered an advantage.

The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and budgeting activities while working closely with internal departments. Preference will be given to candidates currently on a visit visa or cancelled visa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.

• Support inventory accounting and cost-control activities.

• Assist with VAT preparation and compliance requirements.

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Related Field.

• 1–2 years of accounting experience in the UAE.

• Construction industry experience is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.

• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
