Grants Officer
Applicants should:
Hold relevant academic qualifications (PhD or Master’s in Law, Economics, Agribusiness, or related fields; professional certification for Grants Officer).
Have prior teaching, research, or administrative experience in higher education institutions.
Demonstrate strong communication, instructional, and research skills.
Be familiar with curriculum development, student mentorship, and grant management processes.
Show professionalism, integrity, and alignment with Egerton University’s mission as Kenya’s oldest institution of higher learning, with a strong foundation in agricultural and legal education.
Role‑specific expectations:
Senior Lecturers: Lead teaching, research, and departmental responsibilities in specialized law fields.
Lecturers: Deliver lectures, supervise students, and contribute to academic research in law, economics, and agribusiness.
Grants Officer: Manage grant applications, reporting, and compliance with donor requirements.
