Minimum Requirements (Likely)
Applicants should:

Hold relevant academic qualifications (Bachelor’s or Master’s in Public Administration, Social Sciences, Policy, or related fields).

Have prior experience in government service, administration, monitoring & evaluation, or research and strategy development.

Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Be familiar with county government structures, policy frameworks, and service delivery mandates.

Show professionalism, integrity, and alignment with Meru County’s vision of a green, united, and prosperous model county.
Role‑specific expectations:

Directors: Provide strategic leadership, oversee departmental operations, and ensure policy implementation.

Deputy Directors: Support directors in program execution, coordination, and reporting.
-
Special Programs & Social Welfare: Manage social development initiatives and welfare programs.
-
Protocol & Events: Oversee official county events, protocol management, and public representation.

Monitoring & Evaluation: Track performance indicators, assess program impact, and ensure accountability.

Research & Strategy: Lead policy research, strategic planning, and innovation for county development.
