Job Description

Role Overview

This position sits at the center of our technology supply chain, making sure every laptop, server, switch, software license, and cloud subscription is sourced, negotiated, and delivered exactly when our internal teams and client projects need it. You will own the purchasing lifecycle from requisition to invoice, balancing cost, quality, and lead time while keeping our inventory lean and our ERP records accurate.

Your work directly enables sales commitments to become delivered reality — if a project deadline hinges on a specific GPU server or a software entitlement, you are the person who makes sure it arrives on time and at the right price.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the complete procurement cycle for IT hardware (laptops, servers, networking equipment, storage arrays) as well as software licenses, cloud infrastructure, and value-added technology services.
  • Identify, qualify, and maintain a robust supplier ecosystem spanning OEMs, authorized distributors, and specialized logistics partners; conduct regular performance reviews to ensure reliability and competitiveness.
  • Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, payment terms, SLAs, warranty conditions, and volume discounts, then translate agreed terms into clear, enforceable contracts and purchase orders.
  • Process purchase requisitions and PO amendments with strict adherence to internal approval workflows, budget controls, and documentation standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and project sites, schedule replenishment to prevent stockouts, and recommend disposition of slow-moving or obsolete equipment.
  • Operate the Odoo ERP system as the single source of truth for procurement data — maintaining supplier master records, updating item costs, generating reports, and improving automated workflows around order tracking and receiving.
  • Partner with Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Project Management teams to align procurement timing with project milestones, resolve delivery conflicts, and flag supply risks before they impact commitments.
  • Track key supply chain metrics such as on-time delivery, cost savings, supplier lead time, and PO cycle time; provide management with monthly dashboards and actionable improvement recommendations.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on procurement or supply chain experience within an IT-focused environment — corporate IT, IT services, technology distribution, or hardware reseller operations.
  • Solid grasp of IT product categories: client devices, server infrastructure, networking switches and firewalls, storage systems, SaaS licensing models, and cloud services like AWS or Azure.
  • Practical working knowledge of an ERP system for purchasing and inventory control; Odoo experience is strongly preferred, but equivalent systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor) with the ability to adapt quickly will be considered.
  • Proven ability to negotiate contracts, manage vendor disputes, and communicate effectively with both technical stakeholders and commercial decision-makers.
  • Comfort with data analysis and reporting — you can turn ERP data into clear supplier performance summaries and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent procurement cycles without losing track of deadlines or compliance requirements.
