Minimum Requirements (Likely)

Applicants should:

  • Be current students pursuing Bachelor’s or Diploma programs in relevant fields.

  • Provide a valid student ID, recommendation letter from institution, and transcripts.

  • Demonstrate interest in electricity transmission, distribution, and technical operations.

  • Show professionalism, integrity, and alignment with Kenya Power’s mandate of planning, building, and maintaining electricity generation, transmission, and distribution systems.

Role‑specific expectations:

  • Engineering Attachments: Gain hands‑on experience in power systems, mechanical maintenance, civil works, and electrical distribution.

  • Non‑Technical Attachments: Support administrative, planning, and operational functions.

  • Plumbing & Civil Engineering: Assist in infrastructure maintenance and utility projects.
