Role Overview

You will take charge of the facility’s entire operation, acting as the on-site leader who connects strategy with daily execution. Every day involves moving between clinical departments, finance, and support teams to keep services running smoothly, solve bottlenecks, and ensure the facility meets its performance targets without compromising safety or patient care. Your leadership matters because the facility depends on you to create an environment where staff can work effectively, patients receive reliable service, and the organization remains financially healthy and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

• Steer day-to-day operations across the facility, aligning every department’s activity with the overall operational and strategic plan.
• Build and implement annual operational plans and budgets, then track performance against them, addressing shortfalls in revenue, spending, or productivity as soon as they appear.
• Review financial and operational metrics regularly, making data-informed decisions on cost control, resource allocation, and collection improvement.
• Collaborate with department heads and the human resources team to ensure staffing levels match patient demand, workloads are well balanced, and disciplinary or performance issues are handled consistently.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary teamwork so that clinical and nonclinical services coordinate seamlessly around the patient, reducing delays and communication gaps.
• Champion patient safety and quality by supporting clinical audits, incident reporting, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement projects across the facility.
• Keep the facility aligned with regulatory requirements, licensing conditions, accreditation standards, and internal policies, proactively identifying and closing compliance gaps.
• Track service quality from the patient’s perspective, responding to feedback and complaints and ensuring waiting times and service standards improve over time.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in health services management, healthcare administration, business administration, or a directly related field.
• At least three years of progressive healthcare administration experience, ideally in a hospital, clinic, or private healthcare facility.
• Hands-on experience running operations and supervising multidisciplinary staff in a healthcare environment, including financial oversight and performance management.
• A working knowledge of quality frameworks, patient safety systems, regulatory compliance, and accreditation processes used in healthcare.
• Solid understanding of healthcare finances, including revenue cycles, expense control, budgeting, and resource utilization, with the ability to interpret variance reports and act on them.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to motivate teams, manage conflict, and maintain professional accountability across different functions.
