Assistant Buyer – Fragrance

Role Overview

The Assistant Buyer – Fragrance supports the selection and purchasing of fragrance products for the retail business in Dubai. By coordinating with suppliers, keeping inventory aligned with demand, and reviewing sales results, this role helps the buying team make informed decisions and manage commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with fragrance range selection and merchandise planning.
• Coordinate orders and purchasing activity with suppliers, following up on product availability.
• Track stock levels and support inventory decisions to help maintain appropriate product availability.
• Review fragrance sales performance and share findings that can inform future buying choices.
• Help assess product profitability and monitor commercial results.
• Provide day-to-day support for buying operations and related administrative tasks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Three to four years of experience in an Assistant Buyer position within fragrance or beauty retail.
• Working knowledge of fragrance retail, buying processes, procurement, and supplier coordination.
• Experience supporting stock management, merchandise planning, and sales analysis.
• Clear communication skills and confidence coordinating with suppliers.
• A commercially minded, detail-focused approach to managing product and purchasing information.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, retail management, or a related discipline is listed as an estimated qualification.
