Abracadabra is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Compliance Lead to oversee workplace health, safety, and regulatory compliance across its operations in Dubai. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong background in implementing HSE standards within hospitality, leisure, or similar industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, conducting safety assessments, and leading initiatives that strengthen the organization’s health and safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and compliance programs.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and workplace inspections.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Deliver HSE training and promote safety awareness among employees.
• Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Prepare safety reports and maintain compliance documentation.
Requirements:
• Experience in HSE and compliance within FEC, hospitality, leisure, or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, investigations, and staff training.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE HSE regulations and compliance standards
• Risk assessment and incident investigation
• Safety audits and staff training programs
