Role Overview
Based on site in Nairobi’s Industrial Area, the Graphic Designer creates branded materials for print and digital marketing, working with sales and marketing colleagues to turn campaign ideas into finished visual assets. The role also covers short-form video editing and print-ready file preparation, helping the employer present a consistent identity across customer touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
- Design promotional flyers, signage, stationery, advertising materials and other marketing collateral.
- Apply brand guidelines consistently, using effective typography, colour, composition and visual hierarchy.
- Adapt and export artwork to suit the dimensions and technical requirements of different social media platforms.
- Create graphics for digital advertising, web banners, email newsletters and online promotions.
- Work with marketing colleagues to develop campaign concepts into clear, engaging creative assets.
- Edit short promotional videos, social media reels and animated graphics using CapCut or comparable software.
- Prepare high-resolution, colour-accurate files for digital and offset printing, checking specifications before production.
- Manage design feedback and delivery schedules, and keep completed files, source assets and templates organised in cloud storage.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least three years of professional experience in graphic design and content creation.
- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Fine Art, Marketing, Digital Media or a related field.
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, along with Canva and CapCut or comparable tools.
- A portfolio link or downloadable portfolio demonstrating print, branding and digital design work.
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour and print-production preparation.
- Ability to create both static graphics and short-form video content.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to handle several projects to deadline.
- Availability for full-time, on-site work in Industrial Area, Nairobi.
