This role is the engine behind our raw material supply chain. As the Glass Waste Collections Supervisor, you aren't just managing pickups; you are building a vast network of partnerships across Mombasa’s hospitality and residential sectors to ensure a steady flow of glass waste to our recycling facility.
Primary Accountabilities
Your focus is divided between high-level strategy and boots-on-the-ground leadership. You will identify new high-volume collection points—such as malls, hotels, and bars—while leading a team of field agents to hit aggressive recovery targets. A key part of this role involves deploying our digital collection platform to ensure real-time data accuracy and logistics efficiency.
Professional Credentials
Field History: 2–3 years of experience in route-to-market (RTM) operations, field logistics, or distribution.
Sector Advantage: Experience within the Food & Beverage industry is highly valued, as you will be dealing directly with hospitality stakeholders.
Local Intelligence: A deep understanding of Mombasa’s geography and regional logistics.
Technical Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint) for data-driven reporting and trend analysis.
Operational Scope
Volume Growth: Setting and exceeding recovery targets by building lasting relationships with restaurant managers, bar owners, and estate committees.
Team Management: Recruiting, training, and motivating field agents to maintain high productivity and strict adherence to safety protocols.
Route Optimization: Planning efficient transportation schedules to move glass from various regions to the central plant while minimizing costs.
Digital Integration: Leading the rollout of our mobile data platform to track collection metrics and improve operational visibility.
Compliance & Safety: Ensuring all handling and transport activities meet environmental regulations and workplace safety standards.

Salary: Kshs. 40,000 Gross + Performance-based Commission.
