Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business units
- Manage monthly closing process and ensure timely, accurate reporting
- Lead reconciliations - bank, debtors, creditors, inventory and inter-company
- Strengthen working capital control - debtors, creditors and stock
- Oversee statutory compliance - VAT, PAYE, corporate tax coordination
- Support audit processes - internal and external
- Maintain strong cost accounting discipline within manufacturing
- Improve finance processes, controls and documentation
- Partner with operations, supply chain and sales to ensure financial accuracy
- Assist in automation initiatives and system improvements
- Support the Commercial and Sales teams on margins, pricing, trade spend and joint business planning
- Partner with Sales on credit control discipline, customer limits and collection performance

What We Are Looking For
- ACCA or CPA(K) qualified - fully certified
- 5 to 8+ years accounting experience, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of stock, cost of production and margin analysis
- Experience managing high transaction volumes
- Excellent reconciliation and control mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growth environment
- Strong Google Sheet / excel skills
- Extremely comfortable with technology, software, ERP and platforms like 'sage pastel'
- High integrity and strong attention to detail
