Role Context
Our property management division is looking for a Field Property Officer to serve as our eyes and ears on the ground. You will spend a significant portion of your time visiting various units to ensure they are being maintained to our corporate standards and that all lease terms are being honored by occupants.
Primary Accountabilities
You are responsible for the physical oversight of both residential and commercial assets. This involves conducting meticulous check-in/check-out inspections, documenting property conditions with photographic evidence, and monitoring the progress of renovation works. Beyond technical inspections, you will act as a frontline representative, addressing tenant inquiries and following up on rent arrears during your site visits.
Professional Requirements
Field History: At least 3 years of experience specifically in real estate field operations or property management.
Inspection Skills: Proven ability to identify structural issues, utility failures, and unauthorized alterations during routine surveys.
Communication Mastery: Strong interpersonal skills for delivering official notices and maintaining professional relationships with landlords and tenants.
Reporting Discipline: Proficiency in preparing structured daily and weekly activity reports using MS Office and basic reporting tools.
Scope of Work
Site Verification: Confirming tenant occupancy details and ensuring properties comply with local safety regulations.
Sales Support: Assisting with property viewings, lead generation, and the distribution of marketing materials in target areas.
Risk Management: Monitoring vacant units to prevent vandalism and reporting potential legal or structural risks immediately.
Administrative Coordination: Updating CRM systems with fresh property data and coordinating with maintenance teams for repair resolutions.
Salary & Benefits
Remuneration: Kshs. 30,000 – 35,000 Gross.
