Job Description

Role Overview

This role coordinates the first response when a client reports a financed motorcycle or other asset stolen or missing. You will gather and document incident details, help locate the asset, and work with clients, police, local leaders, and field teams to support safe, timely recovery and limit company losses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive emergency calls from clients and create accurate, detailed records of reported thefts and losses.
  • Respond promptly to incidents by coordinating GPS-based asset searches with police, local boda representatives, and field recovery staff.
  • Advise clients to report thefts to the police and record the relevant occurrence book (OB) number on the DC card.
  • Coordinate recovery arrangements, including discussing facilitation costs with the client when they cannot be reached or are unavailable.
  • Keep clients informed about recovery progress and confirm whether a recovered asset has been taken to the yard or a police station.
  • Liaise with community leaders, police, and security personnel to support investigations and recovery work.
  • Send a daily 8:00 a.m. email listing emergency cases involving assets that remain unrecovered, copying the HOD, ESD, DC Field Manager, and Investigation Team Lead.
  • Educate clients on practical ways to prevent theft and protect their financed assets, and take on other related duties assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Criminology or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for handling sensitive incidents and coordinating with clients and external partners.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the resourcefulness to respond effectively when issues arise.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, work independently, and stay organized while managing multiple cases.
  • High integrity and a proactive approach to responsibilities.
