L&T Construction is a leading engineering and construction organization with a strong presence in transportation infrastructure. The company is currently hiring for its Transportation Infrastructure IC (Railways Vertical) team in Dubai, working on large-scale metro and railway projects.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to oversee engineering documents, technical submissions, and project records for our railways vertical. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in document control and records management within large infrastructure projects, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Prior GCC/Gulf region experience is mandatory. The selected candidate will support project teams throughout execution, testing, commissioning, and final handover while ensuring compliance with all document control procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, PMWeb, ProjectWise, and SharePoint.
• Control engineering drawings, technical submissions, transmittals, and project correspondence.
• Ensure document accuracy, version control, compliance with procedures, and timely distribution to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to facilitate smooth document flow.
• Support testing and commissioning activities, project handover, and final documentation deliverables.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 5–10 years of document control experience in large infrastructure, EPC, metro, railway, or construction projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline.
• Mandatory: Prior GCC/Gulf region experience.
• Preferred: Middle East project experience.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) – Aconex, PMWeb, ProjectWise, SharePoint.
  • Thorough understanding of document control procedures and records management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
