Job Overview

A well-established local group is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to join its Construction Division in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, log, track, and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documents, including drawings, specifications, submittals, and correspondence.
• Maintain an organised electronic and physical filing system in compliance with company procedures.
• Ensure document version control and proper archiving of project records.
• Assist project teams with document retrieval, transmittals, and status reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, suppliers) to ensure timely document flow.
• Support audits and quality assurance processes by providing accurate documentation records.
• Follow up on pending documents and maintain tracking registers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Document Controller in the construction or engineering industry.
• Language: Fluency in Tagalog (spoken) is mandatory; English proficiency is required.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems (EDMS). Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of construction documentation workflows and standards.
