Role Overview
This role sits at the heart of the client journey, ensuring that every customer gets off to a strong start and continues to find real value in the product long after sign-up. You will be the dependable point of contact who guides clients through onboarding, watches how they engage with the platform, and steps in early when adoption dips or issues arise. By blending structured follow-ups with a genuine interest in each client’s goals, you help reduce churn, encourage renewals, and give the wider team the visibility they need to keep service quality high.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients, from initial configuration and system setup through to hands-on training and a smooth go-live transition.
- Proactively check in with customers on a regular cadence, building trust and staying alert to any signs of disengagement, frustration, or changing needs.
- Track how actively customers use the product, then analyse that usage data to spot at-risk accounts, highlight improvement areas, and suggest tailored next steps.
- Act as the bridge between customers and internal teams—translating client issues into clear tickets, chasing resolutions, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Keep client records scrupulously up to date, logging key interactions, renewal dates, risks, and milestones so that account history is always accurate and actionable.
- Collect feedback through surveys, calls, and check-ins, then convert recurring themes into practical recommendations for service and product improvements.
- Create and refresh user-friendly resources such as quick-start guides, feature walkthroughs, and FAQ documents that help customers help themselves.
- Prepare concise success reports on a regular basis, summarising adoption trends, outstanding actions, and overall account health for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, BBIT, or a closely related discipline.
- Between one and three years of hands-on experience in customer success, client service, service delivery, project coordination, or another client-facing function.
- Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly, explain technical concepts in plain language, and remain composed when customers are unhappy.
- Strong organisational discipline—able to juggle multiple accounts, deadlines, and competing priorities without letting details slide.
- Comfortable using CRM platforms, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools like Power BI (or comparable analytics solutions) to track and present data.
- A natural problem-solver who can look at usage figures and feedback, identify root causes, and turn raw information into clear, practical recommendations.
