Role Overview
This position anchors the partnerships team by managing the full operational cycle that moves a prospect from first conversation to signed partner and live integration. You'll spend your days qualifying incoming interest, building deal documents, chasing approvals, and keeping internal teams aligned so nothing stalls between a handshake and a go-live date. Your ability to stay organised and keep stakeholders moving determines how quickly new partners contribute to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source and qualify new partnership leads through targeted outreach, inbound enquiry triage, and market research across payments and remittance networks.
- Host introductory calls and product walkthroughs for prospective partners, then maintain a structured follow-up cadence to keep every opportunity moving forward.
- Support the commercial side of deal structuring by preparing partnership proposals, pricing scenarios, and presentation materials that clearly articulate mutual value.
- Take ownership of the NDA process from sending initial drafts to tracking countersignatures, removing legal bottlenecks before they delay negotiations.
- Coordinate partner onboarding by gathering required documents, liaising with Compliance, Operations, and Finance, and driving the internal checklist to completion.
- Update and maintain pipeline trackers in Google Sheets and the CRM, logging every partner interaction, stage change, and projected milestone with precision.
- Produce weekly and monthly pipeline reports covering lead volume, conversion rates, deal aging, and activation progress for management review.
- Monitor the health of existing partner relationships, respond to operational queries, and escalate issues quickly to protect partner satisfaction.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years' experience in partnerships, business development, or client relationship management, specifically within money transfer, remittance, forex, fintech, or related financial services.
- Proven ability to handle multiple partners and transactions at different stages simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence leading external calls and drafting professional documents.
- Excellent organisational habits and a persistent approach to follow-up, ensuring tasks are completed and commitments are honoured.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM tools for data management, tracking, and reporting.
