Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven, commercially astute Business Development Officer to anchor our property leasing and sales architecture. Your primary objective is to aggressively maximize occupancy levels and secure premium revenue pipelines across our luxury real estate portfolio. This position bridges high-touch elite networking with hands-on transaction management; you will steer the client lifecycle from initial lead qualification and sophisticated property presentations through to final lease execution and asset handover. The role demands an ambitious, self-motivated dealmaker who excels at managing high-net-worth individuals and can seamlessly convert market interest into closed contracts.

Areas of Accountability

Pipeline Acquisition & Transaction Closure

  • Prospect, qualify, and convert new tenant leads, buyers, and institutional investors to optimize occupancy metrics across commercial and residential properties.

  • Execute polished property presentations, guided site viewings, and deep structural consultations tailored to client needs.

  • Formulate and negotiate competitive lease frameworks, purchase contracts, and commercial terms to close high-value real estate deals.

  • Hit and consistently exceed targeted monthly and quarterly leasing volumes and portfolio occupancy benchmarks.

Key Account Management & Tenant Retention

  • Oversee the end-to-end leasing pipeline, coordinating seamless property handovers and onboarding protocols for new residents.

  • Cultivate and insulate deep, long-term partnerships with high-net-worth clients, corporate organizations, and property investment syndicates.

  • Resolve tenant inquiries and property friction points swiftly, coordinating across internal maintenance networks to protect client satisfaction.

  • Track tenant lease lifecycles proactively, initiating renewal discussions and upsell options long before expiration timelines arrive.

Strategic Networks & Brand Representation

  • Establish and scale high-yield referral networks with external real estate agents, relocation agencies, and corporate procurement departments.

  • Represent the firm authoritatively at premium industry events, property expos, and executive networking panels to boost portfolio visibility.

  • Review shifting competitive landscapes, local rental rate index variations, and emerging zoning trends to advise leadership on asset positioning.

Database Auditing & Compliance Controls

  • Maintain immaculate, up-to-date transaction records, contract logs, and client conversation diaries inside the centralized system.

  • Ensure all leasing workflows, document signatures, and deposit handovers align perfectly with company governance policies and national real estate regulations.

  • Formulate structured pipeline summaries, occupancy projections, and market intelligence dossiers for executive leadership review.

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum Entry Criteria

  • Academic Foundation: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a complementary commercial discipline.

  • Professional Longevity: Minimum of 3 years of progressive, hands-on experience in real estate sales, luxury leasing, or corporate property business development.

  • Portfolio Expertise: Verifiable, mandatory experience navigating luxury residential developments and premium urban assets.

  • Client Alignment: Prior exposure managing high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), elite corporate relocation briefs, and premium investor accounts.

Functional Competencies

  • Negotiation Dexterity: Advanced commercial negotiation skills, with a track record of preserving asset margins during complex contract closures.

  • Communication Polish: Exceptional verbal presentation and writing skills, with the personal presence needed to interact comfortably with luxury buyers.

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong baseline capability to evaluate market occupancy trends, review competitive pricing strategies, and build data-backed proposals.
