Role Overview
This role owns the growth agenda for Scion Hospital's maternity service line, turning market opportunity into booked antenatal appointments, maternity tours, and deliveries across the hospital's branches. Day to day, you will be in the field and on the phone with obstetricians, corporate HR teams, insurance relationship managers, and community antenatal educators, while also shaping campaigns that speak directly to expectant parents. Your work determines whether the maternity units run at healthy occupancy and whether families choose Scion for one of the most important moments of their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute a maternity growth plan for each branch, covering referral pipelines, corporate packages, community outreach, and seasonal campaign timing.
- Identify, approach, and onboard new referral sources such as obstetricians, gynaecologists, fertility clinics, antenatal diagnostic centres, paediatricians, and childbirth educators.
- Negotiate and manage corporate maternity agreements with employers, insurers, and health management organisations, including package design, pricing input, and renewal conversations.
- Design and run maternity marketing campaigns across digital channels (search, social, email, content) and traditional channels (radio, print, out-of-home, hospital collateral), with messaging tailored to expectant mothers and their families.
- Represent the hospital at antenatal classes, baby fairs, parenting expos, and community health events to generate leads and build brand recall.
- Convert enquiries into booked maternity tours, antenatal appointments, and delivery bookings by working closely with front desk, call centre, and clinical teams.
- Maintain a referral tracking system or CRM, logging interactions, follow-ups, and conversion outcomes for every partner and lead source.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports on lead volume, conversion rates, referral contribution, revenue, and return on investment by channel and branch, and collaborate with branch managers, nursing leads, and finance to align capacity, pricing, and patient experience with marketing promises.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Healthcare Management, or a comparable field.
- At least one year of hands-on experience focused specifically on maternity services — not general healthcare marketing alone — covering lead generation, referral development, or patient acquisition.
- Demonstrated track record in healthcare marketing, with a clear understanding of how expectant mothers research and choose maternity providers.
- Confident relationship-builder who can hold credible conversations with clinicians, insurance executives, and corporate decision-makers.
- Strong sales, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to close referral and partnership agreements.
- Self-directed worker who can manage a field-based schedule, meet volume and revenue targets, and report results without close supervision.
- Working knowledge of both digital channels (social media, search, email, content) and traditional channels (print, radio, events, community outreach).
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools and able to compile basic performance reports from CRM or spreadsheet data.
