Direct Line Reporting: Commercial Director / Head of Sales

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Executive to spearhead corporate customer acquisition and accelerate revenue pipelines for our enterprise operations. Your primary objective is to aggressively pursue new market opportunities, lock in lucrative commercial partnerships, and systematically grow the company's active B2B portfolio. This position anchors our commercial sales engine; you will manage the full business cycle from tracking market trends and hosting executive-level product demonstrations to coordinating with internal technical teams for tailored solution engineering and final contract closing. The role demands an ambitious commercial hunter who brings a stellar networking footprint across consultants and contractors, thrives on hitting steep monthly revenue metrics, and is available to command immediate market growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sales & Pipeline Generation

  • Map, qualify, and secure high-value B2B client pipelines to meet and exceed monthly revenue and gross profit targets.
  • Pitch technical product ecosystems and service capabilities directly to C-level executives, corporate buyers, and external procurement teams.
  • Research emerging industry shifts, customer demand trends, and competitive vendor strategies to capture untapped market spaces.
  • Manage high-value closing cycles independently, maintaining total client satisfaction throughout the acquisition process.

Enterprise Network & Account Care

  • Cultivate and insulate lasting commercial connections with corporate stakeholders, engineering consultants, general contractors, and project planners.
  • Oversee active client onboarding paths, establishing proactive communication touchpoints and immediate responses to system inquiries.
  • Lead consistent, high-impact after-sales relationship management loops to drive recurring account renewals and referrals.
  • Represent the firm at industrial trade gatherings, B2B sales networks, and strategic partnership forums to build market visibility.

Solution Design & Proposals

  • Author detailed, persuasive business proposals, corporate pitch decks, and financial quotations custom-tailored to buyer specifications.
  • Interface directly with internal technical engineering departments to cross-examine complex functional demands and outline accurate solution shapes.
  • Control pricing negotiations, discount parameters, and service agreement fine-tuning to safeguard commercial margins.
  • Verify total compliance between client operational requirements and technical fulfillment capabilities prior to contract signatures.

Forecasting & Operational Reports

  • Compile data-driven sales projections, current pipeline stage assessments, and realistic target forecasts for weekly management audits.
  • Document real-time competitor movements, client friction points, and broader market intelligence to update corporate strategy models.
  • Partner with cross-functional internal departments to supervise smooth logistical delivery and flawless product deployment for new clients.
  • Track individual customer acquisition costs and general account conversion velocity metrics to optimize daily workflow scheduling.

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum Entry Criteria

  • Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a closely related commercial field from an accredited institution.
  • B2B Background: Minimum of 3 years of progressive, verifiable experience operating in dedicated business development or corporate sales environments.
  • Target Achievement: Documented track record of consistently meeting or outperforming individual revenue milestones and customer acquisition indicators.
