Role Overview
This position leads growth efforts for the clinics by uncovering new business opportunities, forming partnerships, and bringing more patients through the doors. The work blends market research, relationship management, and direct sales execution to help the clinics compete effectively in a demanding healthcare market. Success is measured by tangible gains in patient visits, revenue, and long-term commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Study the local healthcare landscape to identify untapped patient groups, referral sources, and partnership prospects.
- Create and execute sales plans that expand clinic revenue and patient visits, with clear targets and timelines.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, pharmaceutical representatives, insurance providers, employers, and community groups to open referral channels.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and monitor them so collaborations continue to generate steady patient flow.
- Coordinate with clinic managers and marketing teams to align outreach, promotions, and service offerings with real demand.
- Track pipeline activity, conversion rates, and footfall numbers, then adjust tactics based on performance data.
- Represent the clinics at industry events, health fairs, and networking meetings to raise visibility and generate leads.
- Prepare regular progress reports for leadership and recommend adjustments to keep growth efforts on track.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales and marketing, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in a comparable business development or sales role.
- Three to five years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably within healthcare.
- Exposure to hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, or insurance organizations is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to spot opportunities, build relationships, and close partnership deals.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Comfort using CRM systems and sales metrics to manage a pipeline.
- Self-directed, organized, and able to collaborate across clinical and commercial teams.
