Description:
ElevenLabs is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Operations Manager to support its rapidly growing AI platform and enterprise customer operations. This remote-first role is responsible for ensuring accurate billing processes, managing subscription lifecycles, and maintaining revenue integrity across enterprise accounts.
The successful candidate will work at the intersection of Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Engineering teams to manage the complete billing lifecycle. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to build scalable processes that improve billing accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate closed-won deals from Salesforce into accurately configured subscriptions within billing platforms such as Stripe, including pricing plans, billing intervals, contract dates, trials, and discounts.
• Reconcile executed order forms with provisioning requests and collaborate with Sales and Legal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Partner with Engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and develop processes that improve billing accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage subscription changes, including upgrades, downgrades, seat adjustments, and plan modifications.
• Handle customer offboarding processes by closing subscriptions, issuing final invoices or credits, and ensuring accurate account closure.
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, including incorrect charges, missing credits, and improperly applied discounts.
• Conduct regular audits of active subscriptions to ensure billing aligns with contracted agreements.
• Identify and resolve billing issues such as duplicate customers, inactive subscriptions, and outstanding invoices.
• Support month-end and quarter-end financial closing activities by reconciling billing platforms with Finance records.
• Identify pricing and configuration issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
Requirements:
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex billing operations.
• Ability to work effectively across Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and operational quality.
• Ability to work remotely while operating effectively within EST, CST, or PST time zones.
Strong knowledge of:
• Billing operations, subscription management, and revenue processes.
• Customer account management and invoice reconciliation.
• Billing platforms, financial systems, and process automation.
