IY India Careers is hiring an experienced Assistant Manager – Vendor Management for a leading jewellery organization in Dubai. This role is ideal for a skilled Supply Chain professional with strong expertise in vendor management, procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management within the Gold & Diamonds industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, driving sourcing initiatives, negotiating commercial terms, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring efficient procurement operations. Candidates must have mandatory experience in the Gold & Diamonds industry, Tanishq, and Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement activities.
• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Manage scrap-related processes and reporting.
• Track vendor performance and implement improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with organizational standards.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain effective supplier communication and relationship management.
Requirements:
• 10–12 years of relevant Supply Chain Management experience.
• Mandatory experience in the Gold & Diamonds industry.
• Previous experience with Tanishq is required.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
• Strong expertise in Vendor Management and Procurement.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Knowledge of delivery management and scrap management processes.
• Experience in vendor performance monitoring and improvement.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
