Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a proactive and driven Actuarial Assistant to join our team. The Assistant will support departmental initiatives and day-to-day operations, as they gain hands-on experience and receive mentorship and guidance from our experienced professionals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support in a range of technical assignments.
  • Assist in preparation of client reports and presentations.
  • Support client engagement and communication as required.
  • Provide administrative support to the actuarial team as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support execution of strategies.
  • Conduct research work and assist in thought leadership initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry developments such as regulations, trends and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field.
  • A qualification, or ongoing pursuit of a qualification such as IFoA, SOA, CIFA, CFA or equivalent (desired but not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to professional values and integrity, self driven, adaptable, willingness to learn, attention to detail, initiative, and ownership of work.
