Accounts Assistant

Role Overview

As an Accounts Assistant in the automotive sector, you will help keep routine finance operations accurate and on schedule. Working with distributor and supplier transactions, you will use SAP to process accounting documents and payments, while supporting the finance team with month-end close, reporting, VAT work, and audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare debit and credit notes for distributors and suppliers, checking that supporting details are complete.
• Receive, scan, and process invoices, and help prepare payments for approval and processing.
• Use SAP to record and support day-to-day accounting transactions.
• Maintain distributor account records and process related payments accurately.
• Assist with monthly book closing and the preparation of financial reports.
• Compile documents and information required for internal or external audits.
• Support VAT reporting and budget preparation activities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• One to two years of relevant accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP accounting systems is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with routine accounting operations.
• Understanding of financial reporting and VAT processes.
• ACCA, CPA, CA, or ICWA credentials are preferred.
• Automotive industry experience is an advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
