Accountant – Accounts Payable

Role Overview

Royal Horizon Group is seeking an Accountant – Accounts Payable to support its retail finance operations in Ajman. The role focuses on processing supplier documents and payments, keeping account records accurate, and resolving discrepancies so that payment activity is properly controlled and reported.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process supplier invoices, receipts, credit notes, and debit notes, checking entries for accuracy and appropriate supporting information.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date accounts payable records and ensure transactions follow company procedures.
• Reconcile accounts and investigate differences between recorded transactions and supporting documentation.
• Track outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments where required.
• Allocate receipts to the relevant accounts and help resolve payment queries or disputes.
• Prepare ageing schedules, collection reports, and account statements for finance review.
• Use SAP and other ERP tools to enter, review, and report financial transactions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce.
• At least two years of relevant accounting experience.
• Previous experience in the retail industry is required.
• Practical experience with SAP and ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills, with clear communication and careful attention to detail.
