Description:
Africa Management Solutions Limited (AMSOL) is a rapidly expanding Human Resources and Management consulting firm. It provides a range of HR services designed to meet the full spectrum of human resource and management requirements for any organization.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
Record and manage daily financial transactions within the accounting system.
Prepare and process payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and journal entries.
Perform regular bank, petty cash, and supplier account reconciliations.
Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Support budget preparation and expenditure tracking.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, and VAT (where applicable).
Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit and reference purposes.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and documentation.
Monitor cash flow and provide insights on the organization’s financial position.
Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
Perform additional finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
CPA Part II or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Minimum of 1–2 years’ relevant accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of Kenyan statutory and tax regulations.
Excellent numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
