Description:
Madocsa is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join its expanding finance team in DAFZA, UAE. This role is ideal for finance professionals with a strong background in the shipping industry, capable of managing complete accounts operations, handling payables and receivables, and producing accurate financial reports. The position requires proficiency in bookkeeping, financial analysis, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including payables and receivables
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping for the organization
- Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and analyses
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards
- Assist management with financial insights and decision-making support
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the shipping or logistics sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management
- Experience managing accounts payable and receivable functions
- Expertise in bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
