Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline
- Between 2 to 5 years of practical accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements
- Hands-on experience managing general ledger activities, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
- Proficiency in accounting software along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of VAT regulations and UAE tax compliance procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
- Prepare financial reports and assist with periodic financial closing activities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently
- Support general ledger maintenance and reconciliation tasks
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and applicable UAE financial laws
- Assist management with financial analysis and reporting requirements
- Contribute to maintaining strong internal financial controls and procedures
