Description:

Metaform Industries LLC is looking to hire a dedicated and detail-focused Accountant to join its Finance & Accounts department. This role is responsible for handling daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting functions. The position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with internal policies and UAE VAT regulations while contributing to smooth and efficient financial operations across departments. The selected candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager or Finance Controller.

Job Summary:
The Accountant will manage core accounting operations, assist in financial reporting, and support compliance and audit requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on accounting experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Operations:
• Maintain and update accounting records, general ledger entries, and journals
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately
• Prepare and post journal entries in a timely manner
• Perform bank reconciliations and supplier account reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions

Financial Reporting:
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare financial statements as per company and management requirements
• Assist with budgeting processes and variance analysis

Compliance & Audit:
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and maintain proper VAT records
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required financial data
• Maintain well-organized financial documentation and records

Coordination & Support:
• Coordinate with procurement, HR, and operations teams to gather financial information
• Support payroll accounting and employee expense verification
• Assist in enhancing accounting procedures and strengthening internal controls

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 3–5 years of accounting experience; UAE experience is preferred
• Sound knowledge of UAE VAT regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software or ERP systems; Oracle experience is an advantage
• Strong MS Excel and reporting skills
• Good analytical ability with strong organizational and time-management skills
