Description:
A Dubai-based consulting firm is urgently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Assistant to join its finance team. The company specializes in accounting, compliance, and business support services for a diverse client base across the UAE.
The ideal candidate should have strong bookkeeping knowledge and hands-on experience with accounting software. This role also involves supporting client communication, documentation, and basic administrative tasks to ensure smooth financial operations. Immediate joiners will be given preference.
In addition to core accounting duties, the role may also include occasional support for digital marketing activities to enhance client engagement and business visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records
• Follow up with clients for timely submission of documents and accounting data
• Ensure proper filing, documentation, and record management of financial information
• Coordinate with clients to resolve accounting and bookkeeping queries
• Assist in VAT-related documentation and reporting tasks where required
• Support basic digital marketing activities such as social media updates and content sharing
• Assist management with general administrative and accounting support tasks
Requirements:
• Commerce graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or related field)
• Minimum 2 years of UAE accounting experience required
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting entries
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Tally Prime
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Candidates on Visit Visa, Cancellation Visa, or Sponsored Visa can apply
• Immediate availability required
• Strong knowledge of:
• Accounting and bookkeeping principles
• VAT documentation and compliance basics
• Accounting software (Zoho Books, Tally Prime)
