Description:
VisionBuild Piling and Foundation is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in the construction industry and a proven ability to manage financial operations efficiently.
The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting processes while ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations and accounting standards. The role also requires close collaboration with project and management teams to support financial planning, cost control, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and manage the general ledger while ensuring accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and support month-end closing activities.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support business decision-making.
• Monitor project costs and implement effective cost control measures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and UAE financial regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities and provide the required financial documentation.
• Collaborate with project, operations, and management teams on financial matters and reporting.
• Perform financial analysis and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA will be considered an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong knowledge of:
• Financial accounting, reporting, and general ledger management.
• Accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cost control, and UAE accounting regulations
