Job Description

Head Pastry Chef

We are seeking an exceptional Head Pastry Chef to design and execute an innovative pastry program rooted in classic French technique. This is a leadership role within a luxury environment, demanding artistry, precision, and the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a world-class pastry program that honors French tradition while embracing innovation.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the pastry team to consistently deliver five-star standards.
  • Oversee all pastry operations, ensuring excellence in taste, presentation, and consistency.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene (HACCP), cost control, and premium ingredient sourcing.
  • Showcase expertise in French pastry: viennoiserie, entremets, plated desserts, and chocolate/sugar work.
  • Blend artistry, innovation, and flavor to create memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Pastry or Culinary degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a luxury environment, with at least 3 years in a Head of Pastry or equivalent role.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and communicate effectively with a passionate team.
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to upholding the highest operational standards.
  • Mandatory expertise in French pastry techniques, including viennoiserie, entremets, plated desserts, and chocolate/sugar work.
  • A track record of blending artistry, innovation, and exceptional flavor profiles.
