Description:
Solid Mix is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated QC Assistant to join its quality assurance team in Dubai. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining high-quality standards within the concrete manufacturing industry while supporting continuous process improvements across production operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with production and laboratory teams to ensure products meet required specifications, industry regulations, and client expectations. Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily production activities to ensure compliance with established quality standards and address any non-conformities.
• Develop, review, and validate concrete mix designs while preparing accurate batch cards.
• Inspect and test incoming raw materials and prepare detailed quality assurance reports.
• Conduct regular inspections of stockyards to verify proper storage and handling of materials.
• Coordinate material sampling and testing with internal laboratories and accredited external testing facilities.
• Arrange material submissions and sampling for Dubai Municipality and other relevant approval authorities.
• Inspect finished products before dispatch and issue product compliance certificates.
• Maintain accurate LOT numbering systems and product traceability documentation.
• Prepare technical submittals and prequalification documents for consultant and client approvals.
• Monitor batching, mixing, vibration, conveyor operations, and overall manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality standards and production efficiency.
• Prepare daily production reports along with quality control documentation.
• Ensure testing equipment and plant instruments are calibrated according to schedule.
• Develop and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Maintain organized documentation for internal audits, external audits, and certification requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience within the concrete blocks or concrete manufacturing industry will be considered an advantage.
• Fresh graduates and entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of concrete testing methods and quality control standards is preferred.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Concrete testing procedures and quality assurance practices.
• Production monitoring, documentation, and reporting.
• Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), product traceability, and quality management systems
