Description:
Al Gahwa Al Arabiya is seeking a skilled and experienced General Accountant to become part of its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with a solid background in the Food & Beverage industry who is looking to advance their career in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting activities, managing financial records, supporting reporting and compliance requirements, and ensuring accurate accounting operations. The role also involves working closely with different departments to maintain efficient financial processes while contributing to the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Support budgeting activities, audits, and financial compliance.
• Ensure adherence to UAE VAT regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal departments to maintain complete and accurate financial records.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience within the Food & Beverage industry.
• Hands-on experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting, reconciliations, VAT, and month-end closing.
• ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Budgeting, audit support, and UAE accounting compliance.
