Description:
A growing and fast-paced organization in Dubai is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of critical financial functions while contributing to the company’s continued expansion and success.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, regulatory compliance, and audit coordination. Working closely with senior leadership, the successful applicant will play a key role in supporting strategic financial decisions and maintaining strong financial controls across the business.
This role is particularly suited for candidates with experience in Financial Services, FinTech, Trading, or startup environments who thrive in dynamic and evolving business settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and statements
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure financial stability
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
• Maintain strong financial controls and reporting procedures
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives
• Support process improvements and operational efficiency within the finance function
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit processes
• Experience within Financial Services, FinTech, Trading, or startup environments is highly preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Professional accounting certifications are an advantage
• Strong knowledge of:
• Financial reporting standards and accounting principles
• Budgeting and forecasting methodologies
• Cash flow management and financial analysis
• Audit preparation and regulatory compliance
• Financial systems and accounting software
• ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualifications are a plus
