Description:
BI Group is seeking an experienced Concept Architect to join its design team in Dubai. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled architectural professional to oversee design management activities and ensure the successful delivery of residential and mixed-use development projects across the UAE.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing architectural design throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept development through construction and final handover. The role requires a strong understanding of design quality, regulatory compliance, project objectives, and construction feasibility to ensure successful project outcomes.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and stakeholders, the Concept Architect will help maintain design excellence while ensuring alignment with project vision, authority requirements, budget considerations, and practical construction solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate architectural design activities from concept development through project completion
• Ensure design quality, compliance, functionality, and buildability across development projects
• Review architectural designs to ensure alignment with project objectives and design standards
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with applicable UAE regulations, authority requirements, and building codes
• Collaborate with structural, MEP, and multidisciplinary design teams to resolve design challenges
• Support project delivery by balancing design intent, cost targets, and construction practicality
• Participate in design reviews, technical evaluations, and project coordination meetings
• Monitor project progress and provide architectural guidance during construction and handover phases
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related discipline
• 5–8+ years of UAE experience in concept architectural design or design management
• Proven experience working on residential and mixed-use developments
• Strong understanding of Dubai Municipality regulations and development requirements
• Knowledge of Dubai Building Code and UAE Fire and Life Safety Code
• Experience coordinating with structural, MEP, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and project coordination skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and other architectural design software
• Strong knowledge of:

• Dubai Building Code and UAE Fire Code Requirements
