Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Caregiver Trainer to train and mentor learners pursuing caregiving programs. In this role, you will equip students with the skills, knowledge, and professionalism required to succeed as caregivers. You will play a vital part in shaping the next generation of caregiving professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on caregiving topics, including personal care, patient safety, communication, and ethical practices.
  • Mentor and assess learners to ensure they meet program competencies and professional standards.
  • Design and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools in line with industry requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their practical and theoretical understanding.
  • Maintain accurate records of learner progress, attendance, and certification.
  • Collaborate with the training team to continuously improve program quality and relevance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing, Community Health, Caregiving, Gerontology, or a related healthcare field.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in caregiving, healthcare practice, or training.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and digital learning platforms.
  • Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • TVET Trainer Certificate or Trainer of Trainers qualification is an added advantage.
