Description:
A well-established group of companies in Abu Dhabi is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideal for accounting professionals who possess strong analytical skills and are looking to build their career within a dynamic corporate environment.
The selected candidate will support daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, assist with reporting activities, and ensure accuracy in financial transactions. The role requires proficiency in accounting systems, advanced Excel skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in the UAE who can effectively contribute to a fast-paced and professional work environment. Filipino nationals are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documentation
• Process invoices, payments, and accounting transactions
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities
• Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies when required
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Prepare financial data and reports for management review
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial matters
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy is required
• CPA qualification is considered an advantage
• Previous accounting experience in a similar role is preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP is required
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Applicants currently based in the UAE are preferred
• Strong knowledge of:
• General accounting principles and practices
• SAP ERP systems and financial modules
• Microsoft Excel functions, formulas, and reporting tools
• Financial reporting and account reconciliation processes
