Description:
Freesia is seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer – Electrical to support the successful delivery of prestigious residential, commercial, mixed-use, and high-rise construction projects across the UAE. This role is ideal for a quality-focused professional with extensive experience in electrical systems, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities within large-scale construction environments.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality standards throughout project execution, ensuring compliance with approved specifications, industry regulations, and project requirements. The position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project stakeholders to achieve quality objectives and successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure all electrical installations and works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors regarding quality-related matters.
• Review and maintain QA/QC records, inspection requests, testing reports, and project documentation.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with established quality procedures and standards.
• Identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain project quality.
• Support testing, inspection, and commissioning activities throughout project phases.
• Assist project teams in achieving quality targets and successful project handover.
• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8–12 years of QA/QC experience within MEP and building construction projects.
• Strong background in residential, commercial, mixed-use, and high-rise developments.
• Extensive experience with electrical installations, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Ability to review and assess ITPs, method statements, quality plans, material submittals, and inspection reports.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple project stakeholders.
