Description:
The Millennium School Dubai is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Social Studies Teacher to join its academic team for the August 2026 intake. This opportunity is ideal for educators who are passionate about inspiring young learners and delivering engaging social studies lessons in a dynamic school environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering students’ understanding of history, geography, political science, and related subjects while contributing positively to the school’s collaborative culture. Candidates with experience in MSC/UAE Social Studies and the CBSE curriculum will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and effective Social Studies lessons to primary-level students
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and educational activities aligned with curriculum requirements
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development
• Utilize technology and modern teaching methods to enhance classroom learning
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
Requirements:
• B.A. or M.A. in Arts along with a B.Ed. qualification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience
• Preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds in History, Political Science, International Relations, or Geography
• Experience teaching MSC/UAE Social Studies and CBSE curriculum preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong IT and classroom technology skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
• Distance learning or Open University qualifications will not be considered
Strong knowledge of:
• Social Studies curriculum and instructional practices
• Student engagement and classroom management techniques
• Educational technology and digital learning tools
