Description:
A leading organization in Dubai is seeking an experienced Team Leader – Quality Assurance (Handover) to join its team on an 8-month extendable contract. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in quality assurance, property handover processes, and construction quality management.
The successful candidate will oversee quality inspections, manage handover activities, and ensure projects meet established standards before client delivery. The position requires excellent leadership abilities, strong technical knowledge, and experience coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient handovers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the Quality Assurance team during pre-handover inspections
• Conduct detailed site quality inspections and ensure compliance with company standards and SOPs
• Review snag lists and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) before final submission
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely project handovers
• Handle client concerns and escalations while ensuring a positive handover experience
• Train and mentor QA engineers on inspection and quality procedures
• Maintain accurate inspection reports, quality records, and handover documentation
• Monitor project quality standards and recommend corrective actions where necessary
• Support management in achieving successful project completion and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, construction quality, or property handover
• Strong understanding of snagging, inspections, BOQs, and handover procedures
• Proven experience leading QA teams and coordinating with consultants and contractors
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• UAE real estate or property developer experience is highly preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
• Strong knowledge of:
• Quality assurance and quality control processes
• Snagging inspections, BOQ reviews, and property handover procedures
• Construction standards, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
