Description:

A reputable organization in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented and well-organized Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting overall financial operations in accordance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.

This role requires strong analytical ability, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring smooth accounting operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system accurately.

• Review and verify sales invoices, receipts, and supporting financial documents.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently.

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Monitor petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation and control.

• Follow up on outstanding customer payments and maintain collection records.

• Maintain organized financial records, documentation, and filing systems.

• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and financial regulations.

• Assist in month-end closing procedures and preparation of financial reports.

• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Good communication and follow-up abilities.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
