Cavend Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Officer to join its growing team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for procurement professionals with a solid background in the construction sector and a strong understanding of sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting construction projects by ensuring the timely procurement of materials, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining cost-effective purchasing processes while meeting quality and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities for construction materials, equipment, and related project requirements.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.

• Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions.

• Ensure timely purchasing and delivery of materials to support project schedules.

• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong professional relationships.

• Coordinate with project teams, site personnel, and management to understand procurement needs.

• Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and supplier documentation.

• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry best practices.

• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

• Assist in resolving supply chain and procurement-related challenges efficiently.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of procurement experience within the construction industry.

• Strong supplier sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation skills.

• Good knowledge of construction materials, procurement procedures, and supply chain operations.

• Ability to manage multiple procurement requirements and meet project deadlines.

• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.

• Proficiency in preparing procurement documentation and purchase records.

• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
